10- 15 minutes
1 1/2 cups
2 cups of raw almonds
1 ts sea salt
Spread the almonds out onto a baking tray and put into a preheated oven for about 15 minutes on 180c, keep an eye on them so they don't burn!
Remove from the oven when slightly browned, sprinkle sea salt over the top and let them cool a little.
Tip the tray of almonds into your food processor, blend on medium / high until the oils from the nuts "split" and you have a butter like consistency.
If it's just starting to come together but looks a bit dry, don't worry just keep it going and it will all come together!
Once you have the consistency you want, put into a jar and you're done!
Like any butter this should keep well, for a long period of time... I dare you not to eat it all in a couple of weeks though!
