Saute'd leafy greens

Prep Time

5 minutes

Prep Notes

This isn't even a recipe really, just a delicious way to get more GREENS into your life!!

Greens I use are generally from my garden, beet leaves, spinach, broccoli leaves etc. because i know they're organic and pesticide free.

Try at your farmers market to see what organic greens they have, silverbeet, mustard greens, kale.....

Cooking Time

5 minutes

2 serves

2 bunches or huge handfuls of whatever greens you can get hold of!

3-4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

2 tbs olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

Roughly chop all your greens, a finely chop the garlic. If you can tolerate garlic then go nuts, add as much as you like!

Saute the garlic in the olive oil for a couple of minutes, then dump all the greens in and stir until they wilt.

Season with salt and pepper, and chuck them on your plate!

The benefits of getting greens (fiber) into your diet on a daily basis are HUGE, this is one way I've found to make is super easy AND delicious!
